Job Opening: Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, components, and products that meet industry standards and client specifications. Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, manufacturing specialists, and project managers, to optimize product designs.
Create and maintain documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
Conduct prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly phases of projects.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design or a similar role.
- Experience with design-for-manufacturing (DFM) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
- Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., ANSYS).
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
